hello,
i have a kasparov electronic pocket chess games with a coach function.
i bought it second hand and want to keep it as most of it works except two buttons.
i took the thing apart and found that there is a sort of mesh made of plastic. when you press the rubber button it presses the top mesh against the bottom and makes a circuit. i noticed that the trace from the two buttons to the chip is damaged. it is a silver colour, not sure what it is exactly. i tried putting some tin foil on it but that doesnt work. is there some way to connect the trace without solder as the mesh is a thin plastic.
EDIT: i have fixed it so never mind, never underestimate a man armed with cellotape and tin foil. give me moldy orange peel, two nails and a nuclear bomb and ill kill rambo!!!
