Aye! I must confess to experience of a 'chill' at discovery of the thread's absence!

 

HP pics on post 217 and 253 show up without login! I know cuz I just looked! They're miniaturized but is enough for someone to see! HP I think I made big stupid mistake! I thought emails connected to AAC cuz sender remarking about pics and knows my gm addy. Now I know anyone can see pics without being member and I'm not totally sure how safe I kept gm addy anymore! I reminded by sent mails that JAMA and ACP had it b4 I switched accts to isp email and someone had it when we were both hassled before anyway! Only other thing is about part of sender's mail address but I had a gazillion _new reply_ notices probably clicked on wrong mail for header HP I say my suspicions about who I blame now in private cuz not anybody having anything to do with acc. I'm sorry about all this I feeling like albatross around your neck when you want to get stuff done!

 

It is possible Aleph(0) did not delete the thread, perhaps the moderators here felt it was not a good idea to have it public, as it could lead to further harassment, so they deleted it.

I am still at your service if you require further help.

Derstrom thank you for wanting to help! Now I'm thinking mails were not from AAC member and no reason for me to blame ETO members either!

 

IMPORTANT EDIT:
My assumptions that aac security was breached were unfounded! I made too many assumptions and they were just WRONG!

The good news is that your problem is readily solved! - Save all your email and report abuse immediately! --- I'll never understand why you chose to 'suffer in silence' for two weeks!? -- It would behoove you to bear in mind that all that 'goes away' when ignored is health, money and happiness!!!

HP thanks for caring! I'm alright is only that like you know I have other things going on and now feeling down about acting like neurotic about gm emails It so easy to be cynical about everything but world not like that! Most people honest and responsible so benefit of doubt is best policy. Worst part is that I was so F'ing sure I hadn't shared addy but I totally forgot that I had! HP Plz wait a few days while I untangle personal life and I'll be back to old and now wiser self again! HP I want to change Bday year so correct but I can't So I can ask moderator. HP now I'm going to tell you something! When I added 10 years to age you know it wasn't to pull wool over your eyes cuz if that was it I wouldn't have picked avatar pic that gives me away! I just didn't think opinions of 22 yo chick would be valued Now I believe you that contents of posts are more persuasive than stereotypes

HP I having big stupid problem with morons on email list saying can build triac equivalent with two scrs! I kid you not! I know anyone should know better but they don't! I try to explain about actual semiconductor form but their minds are set in concrete! So I can't find 200 amp triacs with acceptable dv/dt but have plenty of scrs up to the job! HP plz don't be mad at me! I'm not caring about cost just the availability! Tnx for help!

I can't help you with the 'Block Heads' -- however you may find the circuit in the attached image useful Of course you'll need to 're-think' your triggering scheme... I too find SCRs preferable to triacs in high power applications for their favorable dV/dt characteristics and all around ruggedness --- For the rectifiers - just use four of the 250A @ 1kV stud-mount diodes salvaged from the Allegretti units

I find 'thrift' objectionable only when it comes at the cost of quality, reliability, convenience or common sense!
