Hello,

Does anyone know what the power limit is for an EE25 ferrite core transformer? Center tapped 14 volts in, 340 volts out. 13 turns .63mm primary 360 turns .25 mm seconday. Center tapped configuration.

Thanks,

Jon

A 0.63mm primary wire is about 22AWG. The current capacity of that wire is about 1A, maybe a bit less. Consider 14V input at 1A maximum, the maximum input power would be 14W, maybe a bit less. The secondary wire size makes no difference in this case, it is the input limit that determines maximum power.
What the core itself can handle, I can't tell...

Some of the "power limit" depends on the mode the transformer is run in.
A flyback transformer stores the energy then releases it. A forward power supply passes the power on without storing.
The Core has limits by "volts time" and "amp inductance". A faster frequency allows more power.
