I have a schematic which i would like to add notes to it. Pages dont have enough consistency from page to page. Lines from power supply are called one thing on one page and something else on another making it difficult to follow. The same applies to signal lines.

The schematic has been saved as a PDF by the author. Ideas on how I might add notes?

Use a PDF editor. Foxit Reader allows you to make annotations and it's free.

 

When my monitor is showing a PDF I press the PRT SCR button then I open Microsoft PAINT and PASTE the PDF or other file type in, then I can add or change anything and save it as one of many different file types.
I copy and paste all kinds of things I see.

There's a free program called PDFsam (PDF Split And Merge) that will let you extract pages. It does several other things too.
