In volume 3, chapter 2, page 3, paragraph 3, it reads
Group VIIA elements: Fl, Cl, Br, and I all have 7 electrons in the outer shell.
this should be denoting Fluorine, F, not Fl.

I 'm no expert in physics, but based on these links:
http://education.jlab.org/itselemental/ele009.html
http://education.jlab.org/itselemental/ele114.html

and if I read them correctly then Fluorine (F) has a period number of two, whereas Flervonium (Fl) has a period number of 7, as the mentioned group has in common.

According to this and this, Element 114, Fl, is part of group 4A.

A period number of 2 denotes the element residing in the 2nd row of the periodic table.

A quick wiki search leads me towards your point. I never liked quantum physics and chemistry too much, anyway, so I won't claim any right of say.

I won't contradict to what you say and evidence suggests you are right, but we need confirmation from someone that will actually do the change in the e-book.

Thanks for the find, though!
