I have a need to duplicate the programming on a 12F675 chip. It seems like a simple question but I can't find the answer on the forum. Can the programming tools listed read the data off a PIC and write it to another?

They can if the security bits were left unprogrammed. If it is a commercial chip the chances are vanishingly small that you can do this.

If the security fuses are programmed then you can open the package, put it under a powerful microscope, and read the contents of the cells that way. Tedious, but doable.

Yes, when the protection bit is not set.

 

If you want to copy from one 12F675 to a another. It should be easy. Given that the protection bit(s) are not set. However if you want to copy the code to any other PIC than 12F675. That is a completely different kettle of fish
