Those tiny drone motors cannot spin a DC motor.
Please forget the idea.

You are doing the only good stuff with those.
That is drag the car by hand to light it's LEDs. Isn't it cool. You are lighting the LED without batteries.
As for the drone, isn't it fun to fly it for 5 minutes after charging it for hours.

I was the KID who shorted 220VAC mains with hook up wires just because I saw sparks shorting a 1.5V D cell.

@Reloadron Can you beat that ? :D
Nope I need to concede. My brother took a U nail and shoved it into a 120 VAC outlet. While he got a shock the worst damage was when the U nail melted into his hand. Anyway, here in the US it is hard to find a 220 / 240 Volt outlet, My clothes drier has one. :) Don't have an electric stove or water heater. Sometimes for kids the learning curve is steep but we had impressionable learning.

True. We did learn both ways. Hard way and the right way.
I believe that does makes us better.

life was great when you could by $50 cars any time you needed one.
I remember getting a Chevy Geo for free. Darn thing could hardly make it up a slight grade. Down hill was fun though. Headlights only worked when you stepped on the clutch. (bad ground - yes, grounding through the clutch linkage) What a hunk of junk. I think I scrapped the windshield wiper motor out if it and canned the rest. Clutch would slip like crazy and the gas gauge never went below 1/4 mark. Even when you were stranded on the side of a snowy road with expert idiots driving by at 75 MPH while you were walking looking for gasoline.

The "Push to start" cars I'm talking about are the ones where you don't even have to take the key out of your pocket to get into them, and you just push the "Start Engine" button and the computer did the rest of the work.

GEEZ we're getting lazy. Probably won't be long before someone develops "Think - to - Text" (or T3). But I can see that getting me into trouble. If I wrote everything I thought - I'd be handicapped with a frying pan to the skull.

Earlier today my wife and I were talking and got somehow back to Black & White TV or as I call it shades of grey and actually walking across the room to turn the TV On/Off, Volume Up/Down and change the channels, click, click, click not to mention a TV antenna and you got whatever you got and liked it. Wow, lazy is almost an understatement.

My dad had one of the first early remote TV controls back in the 60's. Never needed batteries either. "Tony - go put on channel 13." Or "Would you turn that up for me?" My dad's sister had a TV with a remote. You pushed hard on the button until it made a "Clink". The TV listened for that frequency and would respond accordingly. I remember clinking spoons together and changing the channel on my dad - boy did that cheese him off.

It's official. Some of us here are pretty old. And I have an antenna on top of the house now. Use it too. About fifty something channels available but I programmed out all the channels that speak languages I don't understand. Programmed out the shopping channels and the religious channels too.
