No warings for the oil lamp? That was strange
I dunno I didn't look. She came back from the mechanic complaining her car was running hot and smelled wierd. I went and checked the fluids and found there was no oil. Most women don't know what those lights mean anyhow.

One of my friends has a wife that believes, "women don't do car repairs". She has burnt up 2 engines by ignoring the blinking lights. She isn't stupid, just stubborn. She thinks that as long as her husband is paying for the new car engines, she can afford to be stubborn.

The kind of stuff that makes you tear your hair out!

I would not tolerate this woman. If she refused to observe the warning lights she would either be without car, buy her own car, or replace the engine herself.

My sister crashed my truck. I made her help me pull the front end off. we went to the junk yard together and pulled the front end off another tuck, an then we put the new front end back on together. I think the 3 days of doing legit work in the sun and getting dirt under her nails was more of a motivator to not be an idiot than money. Oh yeah, and I made her pay for the parts too. She got off easy, paid 500$ for the front end; if I had taken it to the body shop, would have cost >3000$ I'm sure.

Oh yah she blew a 86 Cherokee by just running it out of oil. You'd think in a 4 year period an oil change might have been an idea but she didn't know and we kids were to young.

Years ago I was at a friends house when his wife pulled into the driveway. She said "I wish you'd fix the oil gauge in my van, it bounces from zero to 15 everytime I hit a bump".
Turns out she had about 2 quarts of oil in it:eek:
Driving it 4 quarts low didn't seem to hurt the motor:confused:
