Am I the only one to know how old this thread was ?

It was only 5 minutes since the last post when I responded. Resurrected by a new member...

 

Still... Reminds me of Bob. He could walk across the raised floor and touch a tape drive and reset it. He was the only one that could do it. Don't know if it was his shoes or his undies. We tested for ESD so we cranked the zapper up until we got the same failure and created a new "standard." 1.2 Bobs.

No, I actually read how old the thread was.

I will share this just for informational purposes. Before I retired the restrooms in my out building went to totally touch less. Keep in mind this is NE Ohio USA where winters can be cold and brutal. People would go out back behind the building to smoke or catch some fresh air. There were times I stopped on my way back, right from outside, ice cold with snow on me. Stop at a urinal and the auto flush would not work. This came as no surprise as the PIR sensors would not detect a frosty person. This is likely why the auto-flush systems also had a manual flush. Unfortunately the sinks did not have a manual bypass so if your hands were ice cold from being outside you had to wait till your hands warmed up a little for the PIR sensors to detect you. Things which detect body heat to work seem to not work well when there is no body heat. This is why auto-flush sensors will not work for the deceased. Zombies for example require a manual flush system and manual valves on sinks when they wash up.

I think it's the sensor problem. Because a few months ago I also bought a touch less faucet from Amazon. But I didn't face any problem like yours.

 

I would have just started with washing up in a clean toilet and let whomever cleans the bathrooms use their imagination as to what happened from there.
