Do the 5 books on this website need other books to compliment them. If I study just these books will I know as much as an Electrical engineer?.
I am doing this as a hobby and just wanted some advice.

The books are a good introduction to the basics and some practical applications but at the moment they are not complete enough to give you the same knowledge as an EE. At least not most of the ones I've met.

Definitely not.

Regardless of whether you make a distinction between Electrical Engineering and Electronic Engineering, the ebooks give a cursory look at the topics listed. However, they strive to communicate the ideas in a more familiar tone than most textbooks do and convey a practical understanding of the topics.

The eBook is growing (albeit extremely slow) so that might change the future.

All that said, you, as a hobbyist, you will likely not need to know much of what is missing from the eBook.
