Hi everyone,
Can anyone suggest a circuit for charging and discharging a capacitor through an LDO into a load. In short, i have a energy source(solar, piezo etc) and am using it to power a micro-controller. The energy produced is not enough to power it. So i have to accumulate enough energy in capacitor and empty it through an LDO to the load.

Capacitors are not very cost or space effective to store practical amounts of energy and there voltage varies with the amount of energy stored. Much better to use a rechargeable battery.
