Following Situation....

We have a Lightning Console to controll our stage lamps and we thougt to digitalise it and use a laptop.....
The Console is a Zero 88 Sirius 24 and it's connected with an RS-232 25 pins.

Is there a way to digitalise it ???

P.S. If we would do it, we would also need a corresponding Software
P.P.S. Upgrade our system to better hardware is not an option.

 

Wow! There's not a lot to go on there. I would guess that the presence of the RS232 jack gave you hope. Have you searched for s manual or schematics? They would be necessary..,

If you have not found a source for software (I assume you have looked), you will likely have to write it yourself. Or get someone to write it ($$$).

Not knowing how the console talks to the world, writing software will be difficult if not impossible.

We need much more information in order to help. You need to get that info.

Does this console talk DMX ?
DMX is a low voltage standard on a 5 pin XLR used for lighting control

If it is, then there are a few DMX controllers that plug into computers, and software to control them
