Hello all,

I'm trying to configure my PIA in my microcontroller for a certain device and under the description of one of the control lines it says,

"Flag #2A goes high on the active transition of CA2."

What do they mean by active transition?

Thanks again!

They mean the transition from the "inactive" state to the "active" state. For example: most chip select signals are active low. In this case the "active transition" would be the one where the chip select goes from high to low. Got it?
