I am trying to find out the difference between cubes and rectangular solids but when i did google it shows me the difference between rectangular prisms and cubes. Is rectangular solid same as prism? Some body please guide me.

It is also sometimes called a "cuboid" which should tell you something about the comparison to a cube.
Also, rectangular parallelepiped.
