Looking for a device to block/scramble/jam the low frequency range of 0-20khz also known as the hearing spectrum for a unI project. If not possible or too hard 1khz and below will do! Can't find any info ation online so came here looking for some advice?

You want somebody here to design a device for you while you take all the credit for it?

 

Im more after a kind of shield against electromagnetic waves ranging in that frequency if possible. such as creating a bubble of white noise to displace the frequencies or negate them.

What is the magnitude of the signal you want to jam?
Blocking the RF signal is not the objective. Jamming or scrambling is okay???
Seldom does any device offer communication down in that range. The objective makes no sense.

Ill put your name to it if it can be developed lol! Just basically want a device unable to gather data from another device encased within the zone of the scrambler, not really bothered how.

 

And the data you want to stop is riding on an EM carrier wave as low as 1 Hz? Not much bandwidth down there!

Hear hear!

All too often on this site an OP asks for something vague and airy-fairy without properly explaining what its purpose is or how he wants to use it, then all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas pop up from people who think they might have understood the requirement but actually haven't!

There should be a firm rule on this forum that if you want help with a particular project, you should be able to specify exactly what it is you want and how you intend to deploy it. Then you might get some sensible answers.

Ill come clean.. wanting a device to scramble block or some means of stopping this technology (shows some electronics in images) https://www.google.de/patents/US6587729 or a way to scramble/block a persons brain output signals (alpha to theta) <1kHz. Technology is real as the patent proves and up-to date.. even hypothetically how would someone block this?

Jamming would require transmitting high powered pulsed microwave signals; there might be some regulatory issues to deal with dealing with both radio spectrum use and safety.

Alternatively you might be able functionally block usage of the technology by flooding the area with loud acoustic noise.

(This is interesting to me because I experienced the phenomenon while visiting a mountaintop repeater farm in the 1960's - now I know the voices in my head were not a symptom of something serious

The range I'm looking at isn't banned in my country as no device I'm aware of runs at such a low spectrum which is why my university autherised it

I get it. The University of California at Berkeley asked you to do this project to create an EMF/RF-free safe place for its students. Will anyone be able to use that space? How will you avoid interfering with aircraft transiting the area?

I can't understand why the moderators at AAC seem to be pandering to this Thread Starter.
