Hello,

This is my very first post here, would kindly ask for your help. I found a transistor is burned and I am trying to find a replacement one. Though searching with the markings on it, I could not find anything at several electronics shops I tried. How do I select the correct one to replace it?

Please see photo of the transistor below.

Many thanks

Hi konstan, its very difficult to do with the lack of marking on SMD components today! If you are unable to find an exact match by searching online (identify the package by its size and shape, then search for that package and the marking..)
Then you would have to try and figure out what sort of transistor it was from reverse engineering the circuit it was connected to, and try and find a suitable replacement.

Thanks pmd34, I am really new to this, is there a way to measure another working one with a multi meter and from these measurements find which replacement I should select?
