    Hey, electronic newby here.
I was planning on making the Tesla Coil from this video from Keystone Science, and have collected most/all of the parts. He uses a IRFP260N transistor, but says most other power transistors work. I have a C4468 NPN Power Transistor. Will this work? And if so, will I have to change any of the wiring?
    Thanks for your help.

The IRFP260N is an N-channel MOSFET. You cannot replace it with a junction transistor like the C4468.

Thank you. That clears it up a bit.

    Hi again!
I found a W12NK90Z, which seems to be an N channel MOSFET. Will it work?
    Thanks
