Hi I have to solve this problem and I need help:
design a Full-wave rectifiers with resistance load of 1 kilo ohm and dc voltage of 24 V and ripple voltage of 4.8 V.
I know I have to make some bridge but don't know how, could you help me with design? thanks

 

What's your source frequency?

What is the ripple frequency after rectification?

If the dc (average) voltage is 24V and the ripple is 4.8V what is the peak voltage?

What type of filter are you using to control the ripple? Just a capacitor?

If the dc voltage is 24V and the load is 1kohm, what is the average load current?

What is the relationship between load current, frequency, filter capacitance, and ripple? How can you use this to determine the capacitor value?

 

Here is an important hint. Assuming that your AC is comming from a transformer. This will be RMS value. I am quite sure your schoolbooks will cover this in full detail. But still here is some other sources.
