hello im still a student and im stuck on designing a capacitor bank.

i have nothing to start with, its a project, and i want its input to be 12v (storage).

im trying to google capacitor banks and trying to simulate my own using pspice but i keep getting floating nodes and missing resistors or inductors that are not used in most capacitor banks online.

to design the bank is all i need, so i can build it later

Thanks

It is not clear from your schematics why you have capacitors in series considering it shows 2 volts. even 12 volts would not require them to be in series as there are literally hundreds of capacitors available that have a working voltage greater than 12 v. Why a bank? you can easily obtain a 4 or 5 Farad capacitor that is used in cars to supply instantaneous power for high wattage music systems.

So, what is the purpose of the bank? there are many other things to consider as well as value and voltage, but without knowing what you want to use it for, it is difficult to make a suggestion.

What the purpose of this "capacitor bank"? You can't design or size something until you know what the goal of it is.
