Hi-

I am working on a problem for an AC circuits class and would just like to ask for a push in the right direction.

I have attached the problem.

I worked out the equations and came to the conclusion that:
Vi - input voltage
Vo - output voltage
Rf - Impedence Resistor value in Zf
Rs - Impedence Resistor value Zs

Vo = - Rf * Vi / (Rs + jωcRfRs)

I know the capacitor value can only be .02μF and could possibly have more than one.

What is the best way to determine the resistor values as stated in the problem to transform the input into the output?

You need a gain of 2, so that should help with your resistor choices.

For phase, what have you worked out? (frequency response vs. phase angle)

I think a big problem is that we have not yet covered frequency response and only have a few more classes left. I did find something on low pass filters in the textbook and tried to follow it to come up with resistance values. I have attached a multisim photo.

What do you think?

I am not sure even how to begin with the phase shift.
