Management seems to be ignoring the product risks from sourcing obsolete parts. 10 years? That's 100 years in chip years, good luck.

 

There are some good reasons and bad reasons and idiotics ones... not a startup, the FDA is involved which complicates the situation. I have too many projects to worry about poor judegment from mgmt. I've completed a new product prototype and working on a refresh for an existing one.
