The last employee must have found the note to turn off the lights.

Aliexpress is the successor. Has been for at least 10 years now.

DX went down the tubes some years ago after new management or something. It used to have detailed user reviews, and forums with practical advice on the products. Banggood.com was pretty good, at least as far as feedback on items, but in the last couple of years the selection of items has declined dramatically. Lately I've just been shopping at Aliexpress and ebay. My latest Ali orders arrived in under two weeks despite not paying for premium shipping.

I migrated years ago from DX to Ali. Ali is declining because of the U.S. abusive mailing fees I suspect. Only tried Bangood and DHGate a couple of times. ECPlaza is another that does not let me to enter now. For other than components, board assemblies and break-outs am now recently ordering gadgets from Temu. I wish they would sell kits and components some day...
Edited... correction; I was able to enter ecplaza ! :):):)
