What is the difference between Current source and Voltage source?

An ideal current source supplys a constant amount of current through any load you connect across it. A real current source can supply a constant current through a specific range of loads (impedances), if you are out of this range the current will not be constan and regulated.

An ideal voltage source supplies a constant voltage across any load independent of the current drawn by the load. A real voltage source drops its voltage as the current drawn by it increases due to internal resistance.
