DC/AC welder?

It's not only about keeping you safe. It's also about what happens when someone less informed stumbles across a thread and gains poor notions regarding electrical safety or theory.

It's the wisdom of not encouraging impressionable kids/adult idiots and/or misdirecting the uninitiated.

Id certainly hope that doesnt happen. Many things exist that are dangerous and are touted as safe. I am not saying that. Just safe for ME. I have finished my welder and it is as safe as it can allow. Dielectric fluid surround, grounded, and a deadman footpedal to cut power in case of accident. Works great for me. Dont recommend anyone else build it of course.

Doesnt this site also include multiple diagrams for rectifying 115v/220v?
