Daisy Chain to get simultaneous ADC acquisition.....

Just throwing this out there to see if it is a possibility, and yes, I do know you can get a single ADC with multiple channels to do simultaneous ADC readings. But, if I have a daisy chainable ADC, you think it would be possible to daisy chain them have have them all do simultaneous readings? I would imagine that it would require a Start read pin as well? Or if the chip architecture was clever enough, there would be some way to control the reading and acquisition through the cs pin?

One way to do simultaneous readings is to use a sample & hold circuit at each channel.
You sample all at the same time, and then convert them sequentially by the A/D before the next sample.

never designed a sample and hold, but it looks like a peak detector, but with a fet instead of diodes?
