I’m trying to find the best Cybersecurity solutions for my organization, but after going through many websites and resources, I feel more confused than when I started. A friend recommended I ask here, so I’d really appreciate suggestions for a reliable platform.

 

The web is such a complex system that no computer or device is secure.
To be absolutely secure, don't connect or access the web. I realize that that is an unrealistic solution. Hence here are some compromises.

1) For any organization or institution, define and identify your internal and external needs.
2) Separate internal corporate/enterprise system from general web connection. Don't ever connect the two.
3) Use a firewall for all external connections.

I realize that this limits what you can access remotely. There are sound solutions.
Put ultra-sensitive information on a system that is never accessible remotely. It can only be accessed by authorized personnel and systems on-site. Employees are not allowed to connect personal systems to the enterprise system.

For example, if an employee needs to access the web for general information, email, browsing, purchasing, etc. it is done on any regular computer connected to the web (optionally via a firewall). Any access to the enterprise system is done via a different and separate computer supplied and maintained by the organization. The complexity of the solution depends on the operations, size and scope of the organization.
