I have to design a PLC System With the Following Characteristics-
1)16 Isolated Input
2) 16 Isolated Output
3) 3 Isolated Analog Input
4) 3 Isolated Analog Output

 

Re-inventing the wheel?
Is this purely for academic reasons? or is their a definite purpose in mind?
Can you use ready made I/O devices or design from scratch?
I/O AC or DC?
Many unanswered questions.!

Is this PLC for an industrial client? What are their specs? Do they have a preferred OEM? Are you looking for cheap and easy or something that will integrate into an existing PLC architecture?
