So, reiterating my previous questions:

Heatsinks on MOSFETs?

Vcc to IR210x?

Motor specs?
Currently the fets have no heat sinks, its just a small 900kv drone type bldc and vcc to the ir2101/3 (although the package says 2101 they are from ebay so they may be a 2103 underneath) is the same as the vcc to the motor 12v.

A 'small' 900kV drone motor can still pull a shed load of current. Do you have a link to where you bought it?

Sounds like these eBay parts are dodgy, you'd never get a leading brand misnumbering them like that. Link?

Are you running the motor with no load or do you have a prop attached?

Can you measure the current drawn from the battery.

The reason your MOSFETs are getting hot is because you are dissipating around 4 - 8W in each, possibly more (I can't be more accrate without knowing more about the motor than the data I found online). The MOSFETs can only handle around 1.5-2W without a heatsink. You need a heatsink with a thermal resistance less than 10degC/W on each MOSFET.

At no load that motor should be taking about 0.5A per phase. The fact its taking more and gettng hot is because your timing is wrong - with 50% duty cycle you're applying approx 6v which is 5,580rpm or 93rps. But your phase timing is for, I think, 63rps so you're not generating enough BEMF to keep current low and so everything is getting hot...
