What is the design aspect behind selecting parallel capacitor C9 and C8, 20pF in this design and 100pF in the previous design? Also the C3 value?
How can I find out the total current draw and power consumption in this simulation? I mean from the output?

You run the simulation, use the cursor to hover over the voltage source, press the "Alt" key and the current meter turns into a thermometer, a left click will give you the product of current and voltage. Control-left click on the trace name gets you the average power over the displayed interval.
