Yep! I just prefered Scott's design, simpler with less components. Of course this all depends on whether the TS circuit is correct and accessible.

It is his project.
I have been waiting to hear back from him to see if he checked the current draw on those LED modules he is using. In the meantime came up with a few other ideas.

Apologies folks, i've been off radar due to life circumstances. My sister gave birth and my dad got pulled into hospital and sent everything a bit chaotic for a week or so!

I've not managed to get back to the project to give details of current draw through my LED's yet. Although, i'm planning on using Festoon style LED's anyway, which will probably be different again...? all my LED's have just been generic ebay chinese jobs, so i guess they'll not have the sort of manufacturing details you're all after (unfortunately).

I'm off on holiday as from Saturday, and have to prepare to leave before then, but i'll try and get some info back this week before i'll have to go silent again for a bit. Please be patient with me.

 

You just don't forget to post the web links of new led.

 

I've already got my LED's. Had them years. They're in the car and working right now, but they only go on and off. No dimming.
