Hello everyone. I want to design a counter after counting it will be wait three minutes and starts counting again. I design counter part but I am not able to design waiting procces. Any trick?

OK. I am thinking of apply pulse input which called 1-pps (1 pulse per second).To achieve this,firstly I include pulse input which is 3.4V and 60Hz (60 pps). After that I use 7490 (mod10) and 7492 (mod6) the output will be 1pps. I tried it on proteus proffesional 8 but it does not work.
