Converting square wave into buffered sine wave 45Mhz

To get a pure sine wave the simple approach will be to use a high-Q 45 mHZ resonant tuned circuit, For even bettwe purity use two tuned circuits configured as a band-pass filter.

The monolithic crystal filters would probably work but there would be an amplitude limit and above that limit would be distortion and then breakage. So it will all depend on the power level of the signal.

One other thing is the application of the signal. For driving a mixer stage the square wave is better. IN fact, for mixers using FET switching the square wave is much better. So the application is important.
