Converting psu on Mining rig to solar/battery

Hi,
I have a mining rig running with a 1000w psu (the rig runs at 700w-750w) I’m looking to run it with 4x12v heavy duty batteries charged by solar panels, I have the solar panels, batteries and the charger all hooked up but I’m struggling with a good enough inverter (any suggestions)
My question is can I connect the batteries to the psu internally somewhere? (maybe after the coil that reduces the volts)
Any help would be great,
Thanks,
Phil.

What is the output voltage of your 1000W PSU? Is it DC?

Are there any AC motors on your mining rig?

The reason I ask is if it is all DC, you may not need an inverter.
If the required voltage is approximately a multiple of 12 volts DC, you may not need the psu either.

Thanks for the reply,
That’s what I was hoping for, at the minute I have the batteries in 12v configuration, I suppose the best thing to do is check what the EVGA 80 plus gold psu puts out,
But how do I connect all the different outputs from the psu to the mining rig if there’s no psu?
Thanks again,
Phil.

Hi,
Yes it’s for mining crypto, my psu is the 1000w g
I’m only going to using this solar setup to run the miner, I run my house on another setup with 18650 batteries,
Thanks,
Phil.

Hi again,
I’ve checked all the outputs and they are 12v/5v/3v I’ve ordered x2 dc-dc step down modules but now I’ve broke the psu :-(
I’ve started another thread about this if anyone can help,
Thanks,
Phil.

I got hold of another 1000w psu for testing where to connect 12v after the 240v reducer,
Can anyone help where I could connect after the 240v reducer?
This is the psu both sides
