hi I'm converting a reel to reel to guitar amp but when moving chassis a brown wire has disconnected but can't figure out where it needs to soldier to any help will be greatly appreciated thanks

Can you give us more info on the unit, make and model?
Can you post a clearly focused photo showing where the brown wire emanates?

Chances are, it is to be attached to the circuit board.
Can you post a photo showing the solder points on the circuit board?

All i know is it is a civic reel to reel tape recorder no model number available, I've searched online for it but at a loss
I've taken some more pictures it's coming from this unit here. two wires on this unit one connects to the earth and the brown one is the one thats came off

We need to see where the brown wire is coming from. Is it from the transformer?
We need to get a focused photo of the item above the transformer. I may be a bridge rectifier.
