And I have tried connecting the cable, but the data does not appear on my controller (my controller only reads data passing by). For information, my controller is attached to the 2 wire current loop to rs232 converter circuit board

 

Have you checked that the way the data is formatted by the pump and the controller is the same. I would guess that at the lowest level the data is 8 bit asynchronous. If it is then you need to know if the baud rates are the same. If these parts match then you will have to check that the higher level protocol matches.
