anyone know what is the red circle means?1 direct wire and 2ohm resistor in parallel?..........and who tried this circuit before?will be working?

If you look closely at the parts list provided in the article on this circuit, there is an entry that refers to the (1.8 ohm) 2 Ohm 100 Watt resistor as an "Optional Heater Resistor". The author appears to have taken some liberties with the schematic and is attempting to indicate that you can use the 1.8 Ohm 100 Watt resistor or you can simply replace the resistor with a direct connection.

I believe your best course of action would be to email the designer and ask him for clarification on the pros and cons of using the resistor versus a direct connection.
