Hi there! I'm working on a thermostat school project. Currently trying to interface a humidity sensor (either HCZ-D5 or HR202L) with an 8051 microcontroller. Haven't found any information online on how to build a conditioning circuit for any of these 2. The main problem i've encountered is the need to also know the temperature to figure out the proper %RH.

 

As far as i can work out the HR202lL requires an AC energising signal. D.C. apparently destroys the device.
You do get some sort of response,with D.C. but it is unstable.
