For drawing schematics and PCB's, have a look at KiCad:

Here is an on-line program from Digi-key. I prefer to use this when creating circuits for publication.

I can't second that strongly enough. LTspice is not the most friendly drawing program but when you're done you have a simulation and a file you can share widely, because LTspice is widely used. (Free will do that.) For me, those benefits trump the shortcomings of the drawing tools. Mostly it's the interface that is unpleasant.

Depends if you just want CAD, or need schematic capture for possible PCB design also.
For the latter, I use the free Kicad.
