I'm just asking, so it not vital.
I would like to know how the processing power to today's desktops with Intel (or AMD) chips compare to the original Cray Supercomputer. I know they cannot be directly compared since they would need to run the same benchmark program. Probably the only thing that can be directly compared is adding an array of numbers (from memory, without cache). Even a educated guess within an order of magnitude would be close enough. Thanks.

So can a digital watch or simple calculator or kids toy or anything else made in the last 10+ years..

I wouldn't think so since you need at least a 1GHz clock, and most toys (except game systems) are not even close to that. Watches don't need that type of processing power.
