I' in need of an inverter that' in the 2500-3000 watt range but I will be hardwiring it and only need 1 output. The smaller the better. Does anyone know of one? Or of something close?
You might be able to bypass the treadmill's AC input stage and tap into the DC supply. Many, maybe all these things run off DC. If you could get a 48V battery supply and an efficient DC-DC converter to boost it to 90V or whatever the thing uses, that would free you from those enormous currents. But you need info on the the treadmill to have any hope of making such a hack.' trying to run a 2000watt peak treadmill off of this.
