command line parameter

how to use command line parameter. they are entered in command window. But I don't know how to use it.

Like in CCleaner software, command line parameters are:

/AUTO,
/AUTO/SHUTDOWN.

How to use it in command prompt I have entered in directory,
with C:\program files\ccleaner\

But now writing/ auto don't work
