Ok, so I have an Citronic MSX 2 mixer I bought out of nostalgic collection.
It's about 20+ years ago I had one previously, & is probably about how old the mixer is. However, there's an issue with the mixer. Although the mixer is in mint condition and powers on the VU l.e.d meter doesn't work to set levels. Up on opening the mixer it's obvious IMG_20251011_213110_178.jpgIMG_20251011_205752_786.jpgthe culprit as there are 2 wires in a sheath (black & white) that are unattached with solder on that have clearly broken off a solder joint somewhere within reach of them. The other end is soldered to joints on the l.e.d array, hence why it's obviously the issue!
One problem is I can't see obvious signs of break off on the solder joints.
It works by monitoring the cue only & the master when the slider is all the way to the right (o/p) on the cue pan slider. Do you think it would connect off the back of that slider? It's the only thing that makes sense & is also within reach. If they (the wires) are for audio signal.
It's an easy fix just two loose wires but very frustrating without a schematic of any kind.
It was my guess the mixer was faulty & never got sent back hence it's as new condition or took a shock to the base & the wires fell off earlier into its usage & got stored.
