Reduce into simpler circuits.

Look for resistors in series, and simply add them together:
Rt = Rx + Ry : (150 ohms = 100 ohms + 50 ohms)

Look for resistors in parallel and use the following:
Rt = 1 / [(1/Rx) + (1/Ry)] : (33.33 ohms = 100 ohms || 50 ohms)

: when using a calculator for parallel resistance, just invert (1/x) any resistor values, add them together, then invert again.
