I made a new buck driver. how to test the circuit for spikes and ripple. is there any simulation software which will tell me about spikes and ripple. or do I have to check that in scope?

 

Check it with the scope. There are so many parasitic and stray factors a simulation will lie every day on the low side.

 

I hate simulation software , cant beat making it and testing with a scope and DVM, you know its going to work!

 

ok that's a nice information. but I don't have scope and dvm. I have to ask somebody to check it for me.
