Called a "Pickle Fork"... Used to remove the tapered fit tie rod ends et al.
I don't know that I ever heard it calles a pickle fork (makes sense, though), but I'm pretty sure it was called a tie-rod end tool when I bought the one I have.

I had a similar problem with a stuck tapered shaft on a DC motor. I used two flat bladed screwdrivers, wedged in line with each other between the motor mounting screw heads and the chuck rear face. When I pulled the screwdriver handles towards the back of the motor, the chuck popped off. No shafts were bent or damaged because the pressure was applied equally on opposite sides.

I acieved it a similar way, I supported the chuck with two bars of the maximum thickness allowed, and with a flat ended punch gave a blow to the end of the brass collar through the chuck opening.
It popped off and left the brass adapter on the motor which came off easily.

Nothing better than sweet success to start the day.

Yesterday, I DIY an emergency light for my basement workshop. It consisted of 8 white LEDs in 2P4S configuration, two resistors, a NC relay, 12 V SLAB, a small 5V power adapter. I figured that I would be screwed if there were a power failure while I was in the basement. Well guess what? The lights went out today!
