If you would like to use two timers and a linear actuator but use external limit switches, I suggest that you use TM-615 Timers and wire it up as shown in the diagram I am providing.
Wire the timers with operating power per instructions that come with the timers.
Then wire the Actuator to the commons.
Wire both NC (Normally Closed) with Negative power.
You run Positive Power to both Commons of the limit switches.
Then
run wire from the Upper limit switch NC to the Morning/Dusk/Open timer's NO (Normally Open)
and
run wire from the Lower limit switch NC to the Night/Dusk/Close timer's NO (Normally Open)
