I am going to make a plasma speaker as my science project. This is my first electronics project.I saw it someplace inline.I always wanted to make it so I think that I should probably give it a try.Following are the schematics that i found someplace online with some modification in it:
I'm a little short on my budget I have only one 15V 3A DC power supply and about the flyback transformer,i will salvage my old broken PHILLIPS monitor.Rest of the parts are easily available in my region.
Check my schematics and correct them if they're wrong PLUS correct me in simple terms like "if you do this, this will happen but if you adjust it that way then these will be pros etc."
After studying schematics for a few days, the points that are confusing are:
1)I don't know what to do with RC1.
2)The schematics says that if RC1 unused bypass this.So how do I do it.
3)Can i use all electrolytic capacitors as I have those.
I have a month before the science exhibition, so I planned to start building it now and reister myself in the exhibition after it starts working.
Thanks in Advance.
NOTE:I know that it is a high voltage project and I'm willing to take the risk.
