Changing usernames is rarely done.
Changing a username can also lead to misunderstandings.
It can only be done by the administrators Dave and jrap.
If you want to change the username you can send them a PM with arguments why you want to change the name.
One of the occasions the change is allowed is when you entered your e-mail address as a username, then it will often be approved to be changed.

ElectronicsLab has got to be the worst electronics forum out there (almost no moderation or posts), followed by edaboard (improving actually as the moderators appear to be actually moderating, it still feels like a million students begging for someone else to do their assignments for them)

Why not simply create a new account?
