Hi,
I have a need for the base of a plain spiral CFL light bulb (actually several). No electronics or bulb, just the base. Any idea where I'd find that? Right now, I'm cutting up actual CFLs, but it would be nice to skip that step and maybe save a few cents.

So, it's really nothing to do with CFL at that point, just something that screws into a standard lamp socket? A little more detail about what you need might help.

 

It may be that any place that sells those PFL lights will have either deffective ones that have been returned, or ones broken in shipping. if you were anyplace near me I could give you a number of "warm white" cfl lights that i do not want.
