Hi all,

I just bought a second hand cathode-ray oscilloscope and noticed that the displayed object (text, the manu, and the signals) takes some time (ms) to fade out. Is this normal with CROs, or its this an issue with my scope?

Make, model???? Is it perhaps a memory scope? Must be much more fancy than just an oscilloscope to have text and a menu on the screen,

 

What model of CRO is it?

Some scopes have a certain ammount of trace persistence on the screen so it is probably normal.

 

This site https://www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/anyone-familiar-with-the-fluke-'combiscope'/ talks about Combiscopes, although not your particular model number. Does your have both analog and digital capability?
